Just a quick question for those that have weane...

Just a quick question for those that have weaned a toddler. We are on day 9 of weaning, everything is going ok, but not as well as I had hoped. My breasts are still sore and obviously producing milk, which is driving me up the wall. They had seemed better yesterday, but feel worse today. Combine that with the fact that Trinity is still asking for boob and I'm about to admit defeat!! On a good day, she will only ask once, but on a bad day, like today, she has already asked 5-6 times!! The kid has a memory like an elephant!! How long before she forgets?? It's not that hard to distract her, but it honestly breaks me heart when she looks at me with big tear filled eyes and say "boo boo mummy"!! Talk about a guilt trip, LOL. So how long should it take for her to forget that my boobs were ever any more than flaps of skin attached to my chest?? Oh and another thing, she has taken to rubbing my boob, almost as a comfort thing. She does it a lot!! Even when she's in the trolley while we do the shopping. Is that normal??
